Splinters From The Chair by David Schroeder

At this time the Edmonton Antique Car club has done 20 Seniors’ visits or
drive-by events this summer, and there is only one left for the year. Also at this time,
the leaves on the poplar trees have mostly turned yellow. Both of those observations
mean the same thing; The driving season for our old cars is winding down. I hope that
everyone enjoyed the old car events that they attended, and that there were not too
                                             many hard luck stories.

If you have not checked the EACC Facebook page lately (or ever) there are a
lot of excellent pictures from recent club activities.

Beginning in October, the Pioneers Cabin has chosen to require that all groups

ing. Hopefully it is only short term.

There were 54 people at the Annual EACC Corn Roast. There were two vehi-
cles at the Corn Roast that I had not seen before: Mike Ried’s 1906 Cadillac and Greg
Jones’ 1936 Ford. Everything went well and it was a very enjoyable afternoon.
