My bride (Elaine Hoogewoonink) decided to paint
and distress a rather shabby antique dresser that had
been hiding in the corner of our basement. Here’s the
finished product displaying some of her collection of
antique purses & hats.
Interesting side note: the brass hardware was ex-
tremely tarnished and discoloured. It was made to
look (almost) new by soaking them in tomato ketch-
up for a couple of hours, then scrubbing and washing
